Orders, Refunds, Returns, Shipping and Sales Tax

How do I track my order?
You should receive an email or multiple emails shortly after your order is placed specifying approximate shipping time, and further emails once your order ships.

How can I change or cancel my order?
Cancellations must be made in writing no more than 12 hours after the order is placed. Orders cannot be cancelled after this time. Because many of our products are made to order, all sales are final and cannot be returned or exchanged unless otherwise stated.

How are orders shipped?
All orders are insured and shipped USPS Priority Mail. Please allow up to 6 weeks for us to process and fulfill your order after the date the order is placed. Once your order is fulfilled, it will take between 2 and 3 business days to be delivered, depending on the destination. Some destinations may take longer. All of our packaging is 100% recyclable. We use eco friendly packing paper and biodegradable packing peanuts. Occasionally, we may use recycled cardboard boxes to fulfill orders to help reduce handling fees and of course, recycle :).

Can you deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, and Military Addresses (APO/FPO)?
Items shipped to Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories may incur an additional charge and additional shipping time.  

What happens if my order arrives damaged?
Please immediately open and examine your order upon delivery for any damage. If the item arrives damaged, please immediately take photos of the item and damage to both the item and the original packaging. Please then send these photos and an explanation of the damage to supply@alexisgarrett.com. This must happen within 14 calendar days of you receiving the product for us to accept and process a claim.

What happens if the item I ordered is backordered?
In some cases, shipping may be postponed due to a lack of product availability. Items that are on backorder will be shipped when they are received in stock. In the event of any delay, we will notify you by mail or email.

Can I ship to a PO Box?
We can ship some items to a PO Box. This excludes oversized items. We will contact you if the item is not eligible to ship to a PO Box.

Can I ship to destinations outside the US?
Our standard policy is to not sell or ship outside the US. Please contact us if you are interested in purchasing from outside the US. 

How is Sales Tax Assessed?
Sales tax on the merchandise total may be charged for items shipped to the following states and US territories if we have nexus in the state: AL*, AR*, AZ*, CA*, CO*, CT*, DC*, FL*, GA*, IA, ID, IL*, IN*, KS*, KY*, LA*, MA, MD*, ME*, MI*, MN*, MO*, MS*, NC*, ND*, NE*, NJ*, NM*, NV*, NY*, OH*, OK, PA*, RI*, SC*, SD*, TN*, TX*, UT, VA*, VT*, WA*, WI*, WV*, WY and Puerto Rico*. States and US territories marked with an asterisk also collect taxes on shipping and processing charges. Except as otherwise noted, all sales are made by Alexis Garrett Design and the local sales tax of the delivery destination may also be charged. Orders delivered to California locations are F.O.B. destination point which means title passes in California.
